Although this enrages me, I do not find it surprising. Leave it to the Gallente's to attack in our hour of mourning. I know not all Gallente's feel the same way, but we must always beware, for most of the politicians within the Federation would stop at nothing to see the Caldari race eliminated. Aside from this, I recorded the memorial on my onboard CPU. I will post it here for our brothers and sisters that could not attend. I edited some content (unkind words were being flung), but the speech is complete.
Kahrig Duruckhai: Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Karhig Duruckhai, I am, like you a loyal citizen of the Caldari State. I like you feel within me no love for the gallente, and their acts here today do little to warm my heart. However, that aside, we are gathered here today NOT to discuss our differences, NOT to promise more bloodshed, and certainly not to lower ourselves to a futile slanging match. We are gathered here today, with our friends from both the Intaki people and those gallente who support our cause to remember those who gave their lives. We are gathered here today to remember those people who died at the hands of those foolish, and paranoid politicians within the federation who tried to exterminate our race, and to take our freedom. We remember them as our people, who deserved the right to live free, and who had that right taken from them. We can NEVER let such an attrocity be forgotten, but we must also never let it live our lives. Whilst we remember those who died without a chance and without a hope, we must also remember, and celebrate those who gave their lives to give us here today, both hope and freedom. I ask you all to shout high, and hail those who lived, and died on the front lines, those lone soldiers who turned the tide and allowed millions of our people the chance at freedom. So I say to the memory of those who fought for our freedom.... HAIL!!! I would also like to thank those who fought by ourside, I would like to take a moment to give praise to, and remember those Intaki who helped us on our way to freedom. We owe you a great debt, and we hope that one day we can repay it. we would also like to thank all of you! All of you true Caldari who are gathered here today, it is your blood and your sacrifice, your hard work and your sweat that has brought the Caldari State from a fledgling, and war ridden upstart to the glorious and prosperous Civilization it is today. So again, to all true Caldari.... HAIL!!! I would also like to thank all those who helped our fellow citizen today, Jera. She was attacked, and she her cargo was looted, but the Caldari proved their colours once again and won the day.
Jera: Thanks to you fellow Caldari, precious State tech database have been retrieved.
Kahrig Duruckhai: Finally, I'd like to say a little something personal, some of you may be aware of a boy called Timmy, a boy who was, until recently very ill because of the contaminants found within quafe drinks. With the help of Jera and the people of Drink Starsi, he is recovering. However, there are many more suffering, and continued support, both moral and finacial is needed to help them all recover. So I emplore you all to do whatever you can to help cure the illnesses brought on by consumption of quafe, and to help bring the quafe corperation to justice. That is all I have to say this evening, so for one final time... HAIL CALDARI!!!!!!!
